MICHAEL LANE BOLDT IS AN ARCHITECTURALLY TRAINED DESIGNER LIVING IN LOS ANGELES. HE HOLDS A MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE FROM THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE, WHERE HE RECEIVED THE GEHRY PRIZE “FOR THE BEST GRADUATE THESIS OF THE YEAR, REFLECTING SCI-ARC’S CORE MISSION TO TEST THE LIMITS OF ARCHITECTURE.”

HIS CURRENT FOCUS IS ON EXPLORING CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND AI TO AUTOMATE AND FACILITATE MATERIAL RE-USE AND SYSTEMS OF MATERIAL REDISTRIBUTION. 

HIS RECENT PROJECTS INCORPORATE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, GRAPHIC DESIGN,  MATERIAL EXPERIMENTATION, MUSIC PRODUCTION, SYSTEMS DESIGN, AND POLITICAL RESEARCH.
